What To Expect
At NorthSide, the youth ministry is a living, active part of the church. The youth department will only be as strong as the homes that influence the teens. We value strong Christian teachers and influencers to lead the Jr. High and Sr. High youth departments. There is no better way for a young person to learn and grow than by serving actively in their local church along with good godly role models.
The youth departments have monthly activities for fun and fellowship and there are plenty of opportunities to serve in the various ministries of the church.

Our Classrooms
Jr. High
The Jr. High are encouraged to build friendships within their class. Our experienced ministry leaders love sharing their experience and giving these young people an opportunity to serve.
Sr. High
Sr. High teens are given opportunities to sharpen their ministry skills and to deploy them in service. NorthSide’s youth are not just the future of the church, but they are the church! It’s vital as they transition to the responsibilities of adulthood that they are also stepping up to lead in areas of ministry by living the Christian life.
Other Youth Ministries
Bus Ministry
The bus ministry provides transportation to individuals who would otherwise not be able to attend NSBC while establishing lasting relationships with those in our community.
Teen Choir
The teen choir gives the youth a special opportunity to worship the Lord through song. They sing regularly in our midweek services.
Summer Camp
Every summer our youth and children 3rd grade and older have the opportunity to attend Lake Texoma Baptist Youth Camp in Pottsboro, Tx. This time to get away from the distractions of life and spend time with Christ is looked forward to by all!
Bible Clubs
This ministry is designed to reach children in public schools with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Basic Training Youth Conference
The Basic Training Youth Conference is an annual two-day event that is for youth ages 6th-12th grade. It is a free event with open registration to all youth who wish to attend.
Youth Congress
Every other year, the Sr. High Youth of NorthSide are given the opportunity to attend the American Christian Youth Congress hosted by Temple Baptist Church in Powell, TN. This is a great time of spiritual refreshment and challenging teaching.
NorthSide Baptist Academy
Northside Baptist Academy is a private, Christian School that provides an educational environment and program where students can learn to navigate this world and achieve excellence. We provide early childhood instruction (K4) through High School. Juniors and seniors have the opportunity for early college dual enrollment studies.
